Wheelchair donation brings hope to Chiradzulu woman

Gertrude Mazinga, a 27-year-old woman who has been paralyzed since she was five, will now be using a wheelchair for mobility, thanks to a donation from the Initiative for Health, Education and Sanitation (IHES).

Presenting the Wheelchair at her home in Chiradzulu, Chief Executive Officer for IHES, Christopher Mafotetsa, said he was thrilled to see Gertrude using a wheelchair after all her years of struggle.

Receiving the donation, Getrude’s mother, Joyce Naula expressed gratitude to the organisation and pointed out that the wheelchair will ease mobility challenges that her daughter has been facing.

IHES also donated textbooks and a bag of maize flour to the beneficiary.
