Chitipa United falls short at home against Creck SC

Chitipa United failed to capitalise on their home ground advantage at Karonga Stadium, drawing 1-1 with Creck Sporting Club.

Chitipa United were the first to find the net through Rajab Nyirenda in the 55th minute following a pass from Ken Mlenga.

Creck SC’s Gift Kadawati then equalised at the 38-minute mark through a ball from Daudi Chalira.

Chitipa United Coach, Christopher Nyambose, commended his team’s performance as they aim to remain in TNM Super League this season.

Creck SC Coach, MacDonald Mtetemera, said it was a difficult match, citing missed opportunities that his players had in the game.

Currently, Chitipa United are in 16th place while Creck SC holds the 6th position in the 2024 TNM Super League.
