Sanwecka Tech Companions decorated two employees of Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) with electronics valued at K2 million, courtesy of MBC’s Entertainers of the Year (EOY) on Monday in Blantyre.
Chikondi Phinda Msonkho got herself a 50 inch Smart Television, while Ida Chiwaya walked home with a modern DVD Home Theater System.
The two triumphed in Radio Personality of the Year (Female category) and the Director General’s Award, respectively.
Meanwhile, a representative of Sanwecka Tech Companions, Ishmael Amidu has reaffirmed their commitment to continue working with the state broadcaster beyond 2025.
Two years ago, MBC re-introduced EOY to, among others, unearth and celebrate talent in sports and entertainment.
