Police in Balaka have arrested 18 people around Mpulura, Mangerengere, Khwisa, Andiamo, Matola, Mponda Areas and Balaka Township.
Gladson M’bumpha, Balaka Police’s spokesperson, says the suspects were nabbed on cases like robbery with violence, burglary and theft, unlawful wounding, possession of Chamba, fraud, idle and disorderly and grevious harm.
M’bumpha says the arrested are aged between 18 and 38 and they are expected to to answer charges levelled against them.
