MRCS hands over 29 new houses

Some families from Ntauchira Village in Chiradzulu District that had been rendered homeless due to tropical Cyclone Freddy will now have permanent houses.

This is because the Malawi Red Cross Society (MRCS) on Thursday handed over about 29 houses to the families.

The units are among the 52 houses that have been constructed in a newly established village.

This is part of an intervention by the  MRCS following the devastating impact of tropical Cyclone Freddy.
