The Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) has received ballot papers for the Karonga Local Government By-Elections slated for March 26, 2024.
The consignment came through Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe.
The Commission is holding local government by-election in Chilanga, Kapolo and Rukuru wards in the district.
The by-election follows a Court verdict that convicted those who the councillors for abuse of office,theft and fraud .
