Maranatha Academy, Sharda University host education fair

Parents and students  have been invited to take part in the Open School Fair Day, which will be held in Lilongwe on 19 August 2025 and in Mzuzu on 20 August 2025. The events, taking place at the Sunbird Hotels in both cities from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, are expected to provide a gateway to global education opportunities.

The fair is being organised by Maranatha Academy in partnership with Sharda University of India. The initiative follows a similar event in Blantyre and seeks to connect Malawian learners with internationally recognised study options.

Executive Director of Maranatha Private Schools, Ernest Kaonga, said the initiative is designed to open doors for Malawian students.

“We are committed to ensuring that Malawian learners access world-class education and exposure. Through our partnership with Sharda University, students will not only receive theoretical knowledge but also practical skills that are relevant in today’s competitive job market,” said Kaonga.

According to the organisers, the collaboration between Maranatha Academy and Sharda University combines strong theoretical foundations with practical learning, supported by modern technology. With Sharda University’s international accreditation, Malawian students will gain a competitive advantage for employment worldwide.

Kaonga further encouraged parents to register with Maranatha Academy for a seamless process in securing study opportunities in India.

He added that the education fair promises to showcase not only scholarship opportunities but also clear pathways for Malawian students to access world-class training, equipping them for a brighter future.
