The Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, Simplex Chithyola Banda, has concluded the presentation of the National Budget for 2024-25 by highlighting six signals of economic hope and optimism.
These include the availability of fuel, improvement in foreign exchange availability, a decrease in food prices, the materialization of the Extended Credit Facility, the commencement of labour export and the resumption of direct budgetary support.
