President Dr Lazarus Chakwera will this morning officially open the 9th African Population Conference which runs up to the 24th of May.
Over 600 delegates from various African countries have converged in Lilongwe for the Conference and they are expected to discuss challenges countries are facing as a result of rapid population growth and measures to control the boom.
The 9th African Population Conference will be held under the theme “Leveraging Human Capital to Achieve Transformation in a World of Uncertainty”.
