Deputy Health Minister commissions Multi-billion Kwacha Oxygen plant

The Deputy Minister of Health, Halima Daudi, has commissioned a state-of-the-art oxygen plant at Chikwawa District Hospital, aimed at improving oxygen supply to patients in the district and neighbouring Nsanje.

Daudi emphasised the importance of the facility in achieving global health development goals.

The project was funded by Unitaid, with Partners in Health (PIH) overseeing its implementation and the funding for the project amounted to K3.2 billion.
