World Vision Malawi has highlighted the need for more clinics to improve health services in the country.
World Vision’s Programs Manager, Harold Munthali said this during a handover ceremony of the Chimwalale village clinic in Nkhoma, Lilongwe, where he said the organization aims to provide health services to over 2 million children across Malawi.
He said six clinics have already been constructed in the community to enhance healthcare access.
Lilongwe District Council Chairperson, Matias Chiopsanjati urged the community to take care of the new facility, as this will help reduce costs and travel distances for accessing health services.
