Human Trafficking persists

Human Trafficking remains a huge challenge in Malawi due to alleged ignorance and poverty, according to findings by the faith community and the Norwegian Church Aid and Danish Church Aid (NCA/DCA).

Speaking during a meeting which brought together heads of religious institutions,
Country Director for NCA/DCA, Stephan Jansen, cited what he called a lack of relevant and current data on the extent of the problem as a huge challenge when it comes to formulating interventions to counter trafficking in persons.
