Sports analyst Neffie Kammata has praised Kukoma Diamonds’ squad depth, as the team remains firmly in the title race in the FDH Premier Netball League.
During the weekend, Diamonds downed Tigresses 61-49 in a thrilling Blantyre derby, while up in the central region, Blue Eagles and Civonets shared the spoils in a 44-44 stalemate.
Diamonds are second in the league with 15 points from 8 games , a point behind leaders Vanessa Sisters who have played a game more.
Kammata also weighed in on Blue Eagles’ recent dip in form, remarking that the powerhouse is losing the dominance it once commanded in big games.
This comes after the Eagles drew with Kukoma Diamonds, and have now added a second successive draw against Civonets.
The cops who were champions of the inaugural 2025 edition are third with 14 points from 8 games.
