The Government says it will continue engaging Catholic Bishops to achieve the social economic development of this country.
Government spokesperson Moses Kunkuyu, who is also Minister of Information, made the remarks in an interview with MBC following a Pastoral letter that the Catholic Bishops released on Sunday.
The Bishops, in their letter, have outlined a number of issues they want the government to address.
Among others, the Bishops have expressed concern over the victimisation of elderly people, the slow pace of the anti-corruption battle and continued political squabbles as well as the chaos that recently marred Parliament deliberations bordering on who should be the Leader of Opposition in the House.
Kunkuyu said the government has received the suggestions with humility.
