KB appoint Temwa Msuku as first assistant coach amid team struggles

Kamuzu Barracks (KB) have appointed Temwa Msuku as the team’s first assistant coach following the team’s poor performance.

Msuku, who previously served as the head coach for both KB and MAFCO, replaces Dennis Kambewa.

Kambewa has been demoted to second assistant coach, filling the role of Blessings Kawanga, who has been reassigned to other duties.

Msuku, who most recently coached Support Battalion, will now work alongside head coach Charles Kamanga.

According to KB general secretary Albert Midian, Msuku has already started his duties and will be on the bench for their upcoming Super League match against Chitipa United at Civo Stadium on Thursday.

This fixture comes just days after Chitipa defeated Kamuzu Barracks 2-0 in the first leg of the Airtel Top 8 quarterfinals at Karonga Stadium.
