Plascon donates paint to Bvumbe Police Post

Kansai Plascon Limited Malawi has donated paint worth K2.3 million to Bvumbwe Police Post for renovations following damage caused by surrounding communities in 2021. 

General Manager for the company, Yotamu Katumbi, said after learning that officers have been operating under a tree due to the condition of the building, they found it necessary to fulfill the company’s corporate social responsibility in one of its catchment areas.

Superintendent Wiseman Chirwa of Bvumbwe Police, speaking during the official handover of the paint, said that renovating the station will boost the morale of the 65 police officers currently operating under a tree.
