National Initiative for Civic Education (NICE) has urged volunteers under its ‘Boma Lathu’ programme to sensitise Malawians on the newly amended electoral laws.
Daniel Malango, NICE’s Programme Officer, made the call during an orientation for the volunteers on the programme as well as the organization’s 2021-2026 strategy.
Malango said they hope to improve the intellectual capacity of the volunteers, whom he added are doing a commendable job in sensitising the public on various issues.
Patrick Manyozo, one of the volunteers, described the session as an eye-opener ahead of the 2025 General Elections.
In Dedza, NICE has 100 volunteers.
