Malawi Congress Party Diaspora Network (MCPDN) has welcomed the appointment of Dr. Michael Usi as the country’s new Vice President.
In a statement signed by MCPDN Chairperson Chalo Mvula and his vice George Limbani Phiri, the community has described Dr. Usi as a strong advocate for diaspora engagement, having previously engaged with them during his tenure as Minister of Tourism and Natural Resources.
The community is optimistic that Dr. Usi will continue to build on the foundations laid by his predecessor, the late Dr Saulos Chilima, and support President Dr Lazarus Chakwera’s agenda for transforming the country.
