Malawi Gaming and Lotteries Authority (MAGLA) has disclosed plans to construct a sporting facility at Likhubula Valley on Mulanje Mountain.
According to MAGLA’s Director of Finance and Administration, Dumbo Muwalo, the structure will, among other things, have a football and netball arena.
MAGLA disclosed this on the sidelines of this year’s Mount Mulanje Porters Race.
Reacting to the development, Minister of Tourism, Vera Kantukule said the facility will help boost tourism and sporting activities in the country.
