Immas Building Contractors Ltd (IBC) is expected to construct a school block and office at Mbungo Junior Primary School in Likoma District.
General Manager of the company, Immanuel Ndilowe, said the project will be carried out in three months.
Mbungo Junior Primary School Headteacher, Beatrice Mjima, said the school block project is timely as some learners have been attending classes under a tree and being exposed to harsh weather.
The project will be constructed with funds from Landt Foundation Ltd a family based in Germany.
