Landt Foundation a Germany-based charitable organisation has funded the construction of Mbungo Primary School in Likoma District, which will see the facility have a modern school and office blocks.
The foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Aaron Landt, said they aim to contribute to the growth of the country’s education sector.
Emmanuel Ndilowe, managing director for Imman Building which is the contractor for the project, said the initial construction works will run for three months.
The Foundation recently funded the construction of Angelogoveya Primary School and St Paul’s Anglican Secondary in Blantyre.
