Ritz Attorneys at Law has emphasized the need to strengthen higher education institutions’ capacity in the digital era.
The firm’s Head of Marketing, Sean Longwe said this in Blantyre during the handover of 10 computers to the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS), meant to support the university’s newly introduced Bachelor of Laws Honors programme.
Longwe said the law firm believes that education is a cornerstone for national development and the donation supports that vision.
“ICT is part and parcel of education at all levels and the need becomes more pressing at the tertiary level that is why we thought it important to support MUBAS,” said Longwe.
MUBAS Vice Chancellor Associate Professor Nancy Chitera expressed gratitude and said the need for computers at the institution is immense.
