Mazinga Community Ground in Senior Chief Santhe’s area in Kasungu is filled with hundreds of mourners, who have come to bid farewell to the late Lucas Kapheni who died in the Mzimba plane crash.
Minister of Health Khumbize Chiponda, Minister of Transport Jacob Hara, Finance Minister Simplex Chithyola and Deputy Speaker of Parliament Madalitso Kazombo are some of the senior government officials in attendance.
The remains of Late Kapheni, a Guard Commander for the Vice President, late Dr Saulos Chilima, are expected to arrive at the ground this afternoon for burial later in the day.
