People from all walks of life are flocking to Dedza Stadium to pay their last respects to late John Zenus Ungapake Tembo.
President Dr Lazarus Chakwera and First Lady Madam Monica Chakwera who have arrived at the stadium will lead the nation in escorting late JZU to his resting place.
In honour of the departed statesman, former President Dr Bakili Muluzi is also in attendance.
Also attending the ceremony are Vice President Dr Saulos Chilima, former Vice President Khumbo Kachali among other dignitaries.
When all eulogies and speeches are delivered followed by a church service, the cortege of late JZU will depart Dedza Stadium for Kaphala Village in Dedza for a private burial with full military honours.
