EAM is promoting social economic growth — Kamwendo

Presidential Advisor on Religious Affairs, Reverend Brian Kamwendo, has commended the Evangelical Association of Malawi (EAM) for their contributions to the social economic development of the country.

Kamwendo made the remarks in Lilongwe during the official opening ceremony of the 2024 EAM Annual General Meeting.

He praised EAM for the substantial contribution to the country’s development particularly the education sector.

The advisor also encouraged faith leaders to foster a spirit of peace and unity among their members and to offer prayers for the nation’s leaders, including President Dr Lazarus Chakwera.

General Secretary of EAM Francis Mkandawire says the meeting will tackle various emerging issues in the country, with the aim of developing collective resolutions as faith leaders.
