CHITHYOLA-BANDA DELIVERS MOTIVATIONAL TALK AT MUBAS, DONATES SALARY

In honour of the fallen former President of Malawi Congress Party (MCP) John Zenus Ungapake Tembo who was once Chairperson of the University Council, Minister of Trade and Industry, Simplex Chithyola Banda has donated his salary to graduating students of the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) School of Business and Economic Sciences (SOBES).

Chithyola-Banda who is also Member of Parliament for Kasungu South said JZU believed in quality education and wanted the best in the country’s institutions of learning. He further said late Tembo inculcated hard work at school, dedication to serving the government and loyalty to the Malawi Congress Party.

He made the remarks on the sidelines of MUBAS’s SOBES Symposium in Blantyre where he also motivated the graduating students to make a difference wherever they will go. He then donated a total of K3.1 million towards prizes and other necessities in the SOBES.
