Insurance companies have urged people in the country to consider buying insurance to protect their wealth and property against various risks.
This appeal was made by the chairman of insurance companies in Mzuzu, Mike Balawe, during a sports day event.
“You know that saving a lot of money is not easy, and when you buy things that have taken you a long time to acquire, you need to insure them because they can get damaged or stolen, and if you do so, you are protected,” said Balawe.
Regarding the various sports activities that took place, such as netball, football, basketball, checkers and bawo Balawe said, “these promote unity and a healthy lifestyle in many ways.”
Some of the insurance companies that participated include Britam, NICO, Prime, and Vanguard.
