A new lottery retail company named “Bridge Raffles” has been launched in the country.
The company has partnered with National Integrated Technologies Limited (NITEL), formerly known as Malswitch, which will be managing the sale of online tickets.
Additionally, rapper Waxy K has been unveiled as the Brand Ambassador.
Marketing & Communications Consultant for Bridge Raffles, Alex Banda, said the initiative will offer economic benefits to ticket sellers and create employment opportunities for the youth.
NITEL Acting Chief Executive Officer, Praise Mhango, has assured security and convenient accessibility to the platform.
Public Relations Officer for the Malawi Gaming and Lotteries Authority (MAGLA), Nancy Malata, expressed the regulator’s commitment to upholding high standards of transparency and fairness in the raffle draws.
The first draw will be held on Monday next week, and subsequent draws will be held weekly on Waxy K’s Facebook page, where he will personally draw the winners.
