ACB calls for CSOs’ support on awareness

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has urged Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in Dedza District to help raise awareness against corrupt tendencies as the country inch towards the 16 September 2025 general elections.

ACB Principal Public Education Officer, Catherine Nkhoma-Baluti, made the call in the district during an engagement with the CSOs.

Dedza CSOs Chairperson, Osborne Nyirenda, expressed satisfaction with ACB’s approach.

“By engaging us, the graft bursting body shows commitment to prevent occurrences of corrupt practices. We will work with them,” he said.

National Initiative for Civic Education Programme Officer, Vincent Kalawa, described the approach by ACB as a right step.

The ACB is on a nationwide engagement with CSOs ahead of the September polls.
