Trust fund unveils K43BN Hotel project in Blantyre

Public Service Pension Trust Fund has unveiled a K43 billion state-of-the-art Cresta Life Style hotel project in Blantyre.

Chairperson of the Trust Fund, James Kumwenda, confirmed this in Blantyre on Thursday at a ceremony marking the commencement of the three year project.

Kumwenda said: ” As many of us are aware, Malawi 2063 calls for all cities and towns to have masterplans that help ensure there is a concentrated thought process that goes into necessary infrastructure, hence this project.”

Old Mutual Investment Group Director, Alfred Majamanda, said the hotel will contribute to the economic development of the country by creating job opportunities and boosting the tourism sector.

Life Style Cresta Hotel has been designed to align with Malawi’s long term development blueprint, particularly in the areas of urbanization and infrastructure development.
