A grouping known as Mbadwa Zokhudzidwa has called upon candidates willing to contest on different positions in their respective parties to desist from smear campaigns ahead of party conventions.
Chairperson of the grouping, Fredrick Billy Malata, made the remarks during a press briefing in Lilongwe.
Malata said the grouping has noted the vice which clearly shows that intra-party democracy is not entrenched.
