Two TNM Super League rookies, Songwe Border United and Ekhaya FC have already started preparing for the 2025 Football Season by adding new faces in their squads and technical departments.
For instance, Songwe have just appointed Enoch Mhone as their head coach, in a year-long performance-based deal, replacing Gift Chilongo.
On the other hand, Ekhaya seem to have their eyes fixated on ex-FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves’ coach, Enos Chatama, though the club has not said anything concrete.
Both teams are also active in strengthening their squads. Songwe are hosting player trials while Ekhaya are on the verge of signing Emmanuel Saviel, from Mufulira Wanderers on a year-long loan deal.
As for the 2024 Chipiku Central Region Football Association champions, Blue Eagles, they are yet to make any moves to strengthen their squad or technical team. The contract for their head coach, Eliya Kananji, is set to run out on 31 January,2025.
