Association of Malawian Midwives (AMAMI) has expressed gratitude to the Rotary Club of Bwaila for donating valuable mannequins aimed at enhancing the training of Midwives in Malawi.
AMAMI President, Keith Lipato, said the donation is set to improve hands-on training for Midwives, thereby enhancing maternal and child health services across the country.
Immediate past president for Rotary Club of Bwaila, Dr Stella Kasiye, said the organisation is committed to ensuring Midwives in the country are well equipped for their duties.
“We believe that investing in training is key to better maternity outcomes,” Kasiye said.
The mannequins, which simulate various delivery scenarios will help Midwives gain vital experience in a controlled setting.
