Minister of Trade, Sosten Gwengwe, says the US-Africa summit is an opportunity for Malawi to attract more investors and bolster its economy.
He said this in Dallas,Texas ahead of the US-Africa summit which starts today (Monday).
The trade minister said although Malawi already has existing collaborations with some American agencies and companies such as AGOA and Pyxus, the government is geared to attract more investors during the summit.
He is optimistic that Malawi will successfully showcase what it has to offer, in alignment with President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera’s ATM strategy.
