New recruits urged to serve Malawians with honour

Deputy Inspector General of Police responsible for Administration, Happy Mkandawire, says the Malawi Police Service is appreciative of the government’s commitment to improving the country’s security through recruitment of new police officers.

Mkandawire has said this during the Pass Out Parade of 860 recruits at Limbe Police Training School in Limbe, Blantyre.

He also commended the government for constructing decent houses for police officers, procurement of new vehicles and improving the welfare of police officers.

Mkandawire has asked the graduating recruits to serve Malawians with honour, humility and dedication.

A similar event is taking place at Mtakataka and Mlangeni police training schools.
