Communities in Traditional Authority Kanduku in Mwanza District have called for more assistance towards education to improve its quality and standards in the district.
The call was made on Monday when aspiring legislator in the district, Felix Njawala, initiated construction of a two classroom block at Choti Primary School and made a donation of construction materials to Malambe Primary School within the same area.
Njawala, who is also UTM publicist, said education is vital for societal transformation hence the need to invest in the sector.
The project and the donated materials are worth over K10 million.
