Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS) has donated 20 wheelchairs to Kachere Rehabilitation Centre in Blantyre.
MBS Chief Executive Officer, Bernard Thole, said the bureau was compelled to support the facility after learning about the challenge to do with patient’s mobility at the facility.
General Manager for Kachere Rehabilitation Centre, Mak Zinkambani, called upon people of goodwill and companies to support the institution in other aspects.
Established in 1995, Kachere Rehabilitation Centre in Blantyre offers free therapeutic services including physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy among others.
