Maranatha Academy has dismissed allegations about its employment practices, describing them as “false, defamatory, and malicious.”
In a statement, management denied claims that staff go for months without pay, saying such assertions are “entirely false, misleading, and constitute a serious misrepresentation of facts.”
“The Academy categorically and unequivocally rejects all claims suggesting that members of staff are subjected to prolonged periods without remuneration,” the statement said.
The institution emphasised that it remains stable and continues to deliver strong academic results, adding that it is “illogical and misleading” to suggest otherwise.
Management further claimed that some individuals behind the allegations are former employees whose contracts were terminated following disciplinary action for “professional incompetence, misconduct, and violations of institutional standards.”
It also urged the public to avoid spreading unverified information, cautioning that such actions undermine trust.
