Malawi Judiciary holds open day in Lilongwe

Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs Titus Mvalo is this morning presiding over an open day, organized by the Malawi Judiciary.

The event being held in Lilongwe aims at raising awareness and taking the judicial processes closer to the people under the theme ‘Our People, Their Judiciary – Mabwalo amilandu ndianu’.

Supreme Court of Appeal and the Divisions of the High Court, namely Civil; Criminal; Commercial; Revenue; Family and Probate; and the Financial Crimes Division have information desks where members of the public can get information about the Courts and how they work.

The Industrial Relations Court, the Magistrate Courts, and the Child Justice Court also have their own information desks with their personnel ready to engage with the public.
