Coach of the Malawi Beach Soccer National Team, Willy Kumilambe, says his side is ready to face the Burundi Beach Soccer National Team in the 2024 AFCON Beach Soccer qualifier.
The match will take place at Sunbird Livingstonia Beach in Salima.
Kumilambe mentioned that he is aware Burundi will seek revenge after their narrow 6-7 defeat at home in the first match on Monday.
“We are not complacent with the win from the first match, and I can promise the fans that we will fight to qualify for the next round of the competition,” Kumilambe said.
In 2022, the Malawi Beach Soccer National Team finished in sixth position in the AFCON Beach Soccer competition held in Vilankulo, Mozambique.
