Multichoice Malawi has urged local entertainers and event organisers to adopt higher quality standards and seek international collaborations to boost the viewership and popularity of Malawian content.
Multichoice Malawi Communications Specialist, Susan Mtegha, highlighted this in relation to the premiere of Big Brother Naija Season 9, which she said has a significant following across Africa and generates substantial revenue.
She emphasised that Malawi’s entertainment sector can learn from such successful shows.
“This season of Big Brother Naija introduces a new twist with contestants competing in pairs for the first time, adding fresh excitement for viewers,” said Mtegha.
