President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has expressed grief over the death of prominent lawyer Raphael Kasambara, pointing out that the deceased contributed immensely to the country’s field of law and justice.
Kasambara died on Friday in Lilongwe.
“He served our nation with distinction as Justice Minister and Attorney General,” adds the President in a brief statement issued by the State House.
According to one of his colleagues, Wapona Kita, Kasambara’s remains will be taken to Blantyre this afternoon and on Sunday to his home district, Nkhata Bay, where he will be buried on Monday.
