The Independent Schools Association of Malawi (ISAMA) in partnership with Blantyre Teachers Training College has graduated 18 primary school teachers.
Speaking during the graduation ceremony, National Coordinator for ISAMA, Mcphysily Mulauli, said the association introduced the programme to help improve education standards in private schools.
One of the graduating teachers, David Chilore, could not hide his excitement at becoming a qualified teacher.
“I look foward to using the knowledge and skills gained to improve my teaching profession,” said Chilore.
The programme was introduced five years ago and it has so far benefitted 350 teachers.
