Govt to establish ICT learning centres in schools

Minister of Information and Digitalisation Moses Kunkuyu says government intends to establish ICT learning centres in schools across the country to promote the digital economy. 

He made the announcement at Ulongwe Primary School in Lilongwe South East Constituency during a farewell ceremony for 665 Standard Eight learners who will sit for this year’s Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) exams from 22nd May 2024.

The minister said the first phase of the project has already commenced in some constituencies with support from the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA).

Meanwhile, parliamentarian for the area Baba Malondera has handed over writing materials and pocket money to the learners but also recognised 21 best teachers.
