The Malawi National Football Team have maintained their 125th position in the latest FIFA rankings. According to the rankings released today by FIFA, the Flames’ points have slightly dropped from 1141 to 1138.
This month, the Flames played two games in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, securing a 3-1 victory over Sao Tome and Principe, but later suffering a 1-0 away defeat to Equatorial Guinea.
At the top of the global rankings, Argentina remains in the number one spot, followed by France in second, Belgium in third, and Brazil in fourth. Morocco holds the highest rank among African teams, sitting at 12th position.
