Five Super League teams in the North declared fit

Chairperson of Super 5 Bonanza which was hosted at Karonga Stadium, Donnex Chilonga, is optimistic that Super League teams in the North will withstand the heat in the 2024 Super League season.

Chilonga said this when presenting a trophy to Mzuzu City Hammers, who were crowned bonanza champions after accumulating six points from the four matches they played.

According to Chilonga, the teams have seen their strengths and weaknesses and they will polish their mistakes before this year’s Super League season begins.

The Super 5 Bonanza was introduced last year and takes place before the TNM Super League kicks off, with the aim of preparing teams from the North to favourably compete in the league.
