Chitipa United ropes in Nyambose

Chitipa United have appointed Christopher Nyambose as their head coach on a one-year contract, replacing McNelbert Kazuwa who resigned last month.

Nyambose re-joins Chitipa after resigning from Bangwe All Stars.
Kazuwa, along with Elvis Kafoteka, resigned last month by mutual consent with the club, which is currently struggling and sitting in 15th place in the Super League with 5 points.

Chitipa general secretary, Mwaisen Kabaghe, said Nyambose will be assisted by Gift Nathaniel Mkamanga and Wakisa Munkhondiya, with the primary goal of ensuring the team’s survival in the league.

The former Karonga United and Mighty Tigers gaffer said despite his nomadic coaching career, he believes he has what it takes to ensure that Chitipa survives.
