The uptake of science subjects in Community Day Secondary Schools (CDSS) is said to be improving following the implementation of Equals Project by government, with support from the World Bank.
Division planner for South West Education Division, Nelson Lipenga, said the project has changed the mindset of both teachers and students towards science subjects.
Students from various schools said they used to walk long distances to access laboratory services on various experiments.
The goal of the K90 billion project is to improve Mathematics and science in CDSSs.
