National Bank of Malawi (NBM) has described public relations as critical in conveying complex economic and business information to Malawians.
NBM’s Product Development and Strategy Manager, Weluzani Kunkwenzu, made the remarks in Blantyre during a cheque presentation of K3 million to the Public Relations Society of Malawi (PRSM)’s forthcoming Annual General Meeting which will be held from 3 to 6 October in Mangochi.
“Communications specialists break difficult information for people to understand so we want them to use this year’s AGM to educate people about financial literacy,” Said Kunkwenzu.
PRSM Executive Member, Wadza Otomani pointed out that this year’s theme; Managing Narratives for Enhanced Democracy and Development aligns well with the Malawi2063 development blueprint.
