CDH Investment Bank has donated K2 million to Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS) for the 3rd research dissemination conference, scheduled for 2nd October to 4th October in Blantyre.
The conference, themed “Research and Innovation Driving Health Towards #MW2063,”is set to explore how research and innovation can enhance health service delivery.
Speaking while presenting the cheque, Chief Risk and Compliance Officer of CDH Investment Bank, Robert Malipa said the bank appreciates the role KUHeS plays in pioneering health research that helps support education and health sectors.
He emphasized that the event will be instrumental in formulating strategies to improve health services through multidisciplinary research.
Dr Benjamin Kumwenda, Director of Student Affairs at Kamuzu University of (KUHeS), who is co-chairperson for the conference, said this was a timely boost ahead of the annual conference.
“We are confident the deliberations will assist us to continue to work towards achieving Malaw 2063 and help provide solutions to various multidisciplinary research and innovations,” Dr Kumwenda said.
